At Women Empowering Women Network (WEWN) CIC, our mission is clear: to empower women, particularly migrant and BAME women — to thrive in leadership, entrepreneurship, financial resilience, and well-being. Our programmes are intentionally aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to ensure our work delivers meaningful, global impact.
SDG 1: No Poverty & SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic GrowthThrough our capacity-building and professional development initiatives, WEWN helps women access opportunities, grow their careers, and build pathways toward long-term financial stability. Our training, governance support, and career-strengthening activities ensure women have the tools they need to advance and succeed.
SDG 5: Gender EqualityGender equality is at the centre of everything we do. Our flagship programme, Engage and Excel, provides leadership development, governance training, funding awareness, and entrepreneurship support. We are breaking down barriers and equipping women with the confidence, skills, and networks needed to take up leadership roles in their industries and communities.
SDG 3: Good Health and Well-beingThrough Afia Clinic, WEWN supports the mental health and emotional resilience of migrant women. By offering culturally sensitive, accessible mental health support — delivered both in-person and online — we help women build confidence, manage stress, and strengthen their overall well-being.
SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities & SDG 17: Partnerships for the GoalsWEWN’s work directly tackles structural inequalities affecting migrant and BAME women. Through collaboration with community organisations, local authorities, and international networks, we are building inclusive systems that ensure no woman is left behind. Partnerships are central to our mission — together, we amplify impact.

✨ Our CommitmentEvery programme we deliver — from leadership development to mental health support — moves us closer to a more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable world. By uplifting women, WEWN is not only changing individual lives but strengthening communities and contributing to the global vision of sustainable development.
